How to dynamically change HTMLAREA objects in PeopleTools 8.50?

The organization I work for is an upgrade from PeopleTools 8.47 to PeopleTools 8.50. We encountered a problem with HTMLAREA.

In 8.47, you were able to make HTMLAREA on the page with the same low height as you wanted - saving the page properties in the application designer. Any text input into the area without problems expands the area at runtime (for all non-Safari browsers). As much as possible, this does not apply to PeopleTools 8.50. Text placed in HTMLAREA will overflow the area if the area does not have sufficient height. Then this text overlays the text, etc. Below.

Has anyone encountered this problem and found a fix? Pages displayed with a similar problem in Safari 3.x under PeopleTools 8.47.

Thanks in advance,

The rule of Nicholas

What you are describing should be related to some stylesheet overlapping overlap

Here is a list of what I suggest you check: - Which default stylesheet applies to your page? - Is there a built-in style sheet in the HTMLAREA value? - IF NOT, could you study the page style sheet to try and find at what level this overflow is allowed? (I use the webdeveloper Firefox plugin for such purposes)

Hope it gives you some clues about your problem :)
