Are rollbacks possible in Active Directory?

I read several articles on how to programmatically interact with Active Directory. However, one question remains: is it possible to roll back a transaction with Active Directory?

I read that this is not possible in the context that you have multiple domain controllers, as they seem to update each other with an update serial number (USN), as if they know what the USN is asking for when communicating or something like that briefly. From OU, and in case something goes wrong, I need a rollback to the very beginning. Well, you all know what a transaction is!

Not. Active Directory does not support transactions.

You will need to do this manually using code -

Read all changed properties
Update
Something went wrong
Update to original values.

There is a certain danger in this method, but it should be possible
