Strange svn check error

Has anyone had this unusual (recurring) experience before? I am trying to verify a project from the svn repository and I am getting this error:

Registration error; The file or directory is corrupt and unreadable. svn: Cannot move 'C: \ workspace \ project.1267011912396.svn \ tmp \ entries' to 'C: \ workspace \ project.1267011912396.svn \ records': The file or directory is damaged and unreadable.

I tried it several times before and it just checked the project, but now I did it like 15 times and got the same error, what can I do?

This is a known bug in Windows 7 that will be fixed in SP 1.

Back up the entire directory structure (in case you do more damage) and try running svn cleanup.
