Alternatives to Crystal Report

we are moving from access reports to another solution, which we start with crystal reports, and we had several problems, but we found solutions (for example, dynamic images). However, crystal reports do not support subordinate reports in a suppressive format, so we need a new reporting tool. any sanctions? thanks!

Telerik and devexpress are two good candidates.

I think you can add subresources within reports in Perpetuum. http://www.perpetuumsoft.com .
For the record, I do not work on Perpetuum! Rather, I use it in one of my solutions and find it very useful. But if you have a lot of integration with the word, excel, etc., I suggest sticking with crystal reports, as it is able to handle OLE better.

Cheers, Bharat.

I'm not sure how much freedom you fix in reports, but in my experience, most of the time, complex reporting comes down to a design flaw.

Spending some time rethinking and restoring some reports can give you better Performace and you can still use Crystal, which is undoubtedly one of the best reporting tools out there ...

I have not tried devExpress reports, but we have made great strides with Telerik Reporting . It has great integration directly into VS2008, and its reports are actually created as C # code, and report attributes can be configured at run time by setting properties for the "controls" in the report.

Take a picture, if this is not what you need, we find that SQL Server Reporting Services is sufficient for most of our reporting needs.
