Hudson's quest on multiple nodes

I searched Hudson a bit and cannot find a way to tell him to run a configured task on multiple nodes / shortcuts.
How to set up a task to run on both Linux and Solaris every time there is a new commit? Should I duplicate work?

You want to build a matrix. When you create a new job, it appears as a "Multi-configuration build project."

When setting up the task, the "Configuration Matrix" section appears, in which you can select "Build on Multiple Nodes."
