API for Apple mail.app? Not publicly?

I studied the development of the Apple Mail.App plugin and I did not find anything regarding the public api for mail.app, except that there were many sites that said that there wasn’t such a thing ?!

It is right? I honestly can't believe it ?!

Yes. Any Mail plugin development uses reverse engineering information.
