What is the difference between Metro 1.5 and 2.0?

In the web service client project I'm working on, I noticed that the Metro stack was released in version 2.0, where we use 1.4. The documentation is not very accessible for people not familiar with the project.

What is the cause of the error in the version, and is it worth updating it to the latest version?

GlassFish Metro consists of WSIT , JAX-WS and JAXB . These components have been updated to new versions: WSIT from 1.4 to 2.0, JAX-WS from 2.1.5 to 2.2, and JAXB from 2.1.9 to 2.2 .
