How to install a template for a new problem in Redmine?

The goal is to make users more specific by reporting an error.

Wisely, I get a dirty report, "This does not work, please help as soon as possible." from the user, so I constantly ask the same questions - "Why, who-what-when, where and how ..."

Instead, I want to install a template for a new problem, something like this:

  • Which page did you go to? What login did you use?

  • What did you saw?

  • What did you expect to see?

  • Why do you think this is a mistake?

or something else.

Is it possible?

This plugin will be very useful, in your case,

The link below says that you can for the last year or so:

But I have not yet found a description of how this function is used. I think I will have to scroll through some code to find out.

Perhaps this could be a problem to use as a template.

Create the problem as follows:

  • name: error template
  • description:

Which page did you go to? What login did you use? What you see? What did you expect to see? Why do you think this is a mistake?

Then you can duplicate it every time you need a real problem.

The limit is problems with subtasks. If you duplicate the parent problem, you also do not get duplicate subtasks.
