Globalize 1 Path Update for Rails 2.3.x Apps

A couple of years ago, I started using Globalize (Version 1) for my application (more than 1500 translated lines and 3 locales). Since then, several other i18n infrastructures for Rails have appeared: i18n from Sven Fuchs and Globalize 2. Unfortunately, not one of them is located anywhere (call) compatible with the syntax of the Globalize 1 structure.

Is there anyone who tried to migrate / upgrade Globalize 1 using the latest versions of Rails 2.3.x? From the Globalize 1 package does not work with Rails 2.3.x. How would you move along the path of migration.

"Globalization 2 README" offers a migration script for data:

In the meantime, I wrote Globalization Bridge , which facilitates the migration from Globalize 1 to 2 and is compatible with Rails I18n. The plugin includes a rake script that wraps rows in the I18n Backend database.
