How to update IPhone SDK from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3

Question

So, I download this xcode 3.2.1 from iphone sdk 3.1.3 (it's kind of 3gb). I currently have xcode 3.2.1 with iphone sdk 3.1.2. What is the way to update this, I just install it and it installs it on top of what I have or something else, is it even the right way to do it, since I am only trying to update iphone sdk ?? thanks in advance
