Is Oracle Workspace Manager Ready?

I am exploring options for implementing a large-scale temporary database. There are likely to be billions of records managed with minimal time outflow, and I would like the provider to implement the solution in order to avoid too much responsibility in applications that will populate, update, and request storage.

Oracle Workspace Manager is one of the potential solutions I'm looking at, but I got the impression of online research that OWM is not suitable for a production system. Does anyone have experience using OWM for a temporary database, in particular, using TSQL2 constructs?

I heard PostgreSQL has decent support for two-time databases, so you can try to do something about it.
