Getting started with log4cpp in windows

I need to register in a C ++ application. Some time later, I decided to use log4cpp.

  • Is this a safe option to work with, or is there something better?
  • How do I start by installing and importing it into my application using Windows XP, Visual Studio 2005?

TIA

I use the framework, wxWidgets , with logging features. Logging is easy and accessible in different ways (for example, only debugging and logging by priority). wxWidgets comes with installation instructions, search for "MSW".

Whatever system you choose, you can standardize log output. Creating an output format that can be imported into a database or spreadsheet can be very useful.
