Mechanize and redirect (ruby)

I thought mechanization should be redirected by default ... in my script it ends on the redirect page. How can I handle this?

Are you sure the HTTP response is 30x Redirect? The non-normal response is “200 OK” with a page containing <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="100;url=..."> . The mechanism follows the first type of redirection, the second is just a normal response with a link that should be followed.

I can’t verify because you did not provide a username / password in the code.

After your upgrade, this should be enough to complete the redirection after logging in:

For mechanization there is an option. The mechanism does not match the default meta-updates, we can set this parameter, though.

 agent.follow_meta_refresh = true
