Are there any PHP hosts (shared) that do not block the output of ports 2195 and 2196 for the Apple iPhone Push Notifications (APNS)?

I have an Apple iPhone push notifications (APNS) working in php on my own machine. I do not block port 2195 outgoing, but it seems that HostGator does and does not want to open the port. I would suggest that many web hosts are the same, but I am wondering if anyone has found that does not block 2195 and 2196.

I understand that I can use VPS for this, but I would like to reduce costs, I do not send many notifications, and I know that the very simple php scripts that I created work.

Finally, I was able to do this through BlueHost.com. I signed up for a dedicated IP address and another $ 2.50 per month, then they were ready to open ports 2195 and 2196 for me.

I suggest http://fivebean.com/account/aff.php?aff=092 Yes, this is an affiliate link, but they are the best VPS I have ever used. Plus they are cheap.

This host officially provides http://twurla.com/ , which processes and filters thousands of tweets and URLs per minute on their mid-range VPS. Their support is also great, the average response time is 10-15 minutes.

I understand that you really did not want VPS, but this host is very simple and should not be too complicated to configure at all. In contrast, I do not know the common hosts that open manual ports for you. I am using Dreamhost, Bluehost now, and I have used many others, and I know that most will not let you.

Thank you James Hartig
