Glass Transfer in Windows Vista

Question

In Windows Vista, all standard window borders are translucent with some kind of glass distortion effect on everything below them. This glass effect can penetrate other areas of the window — for example, surrounding address and search strings in Windows Explorer or playback controls in Windows Media Player. What if I want to do this in my Windows Windows Forms application? Does anyone know some kind of API call that you can use to control the scope of this effect?

You need P / Invoke from dwmapi.dll

However , this is not officially supported by Winforms, and the general consensus seems to be that the best way to get glass in a .NET application is to use WPF instead.
