SSRS 2005 Multiple Formats in One Text Box

Is it possible to have multiple text string formatting in one text field in SSRS 2005?

Example:

a quick brown fox jumped over a lazy brown dog.

Possible font color settings also

No ... SSRS2005 does not support this feature. However, it is available in SSRS2008 .

Potential workaround : For one project, we were asked to change the format for the middle name of the name field. We were able to place 3 text fields in the report and use some functions of the substring and crop to get the text that we wanted in each text field.

I'm not sure how common the text elements you work with are, but it might be something you can try. If there is a possibility that the data do not match, I would not do it ...

The short answer is no.

If there is, I could not figure it out. Once we commissioned an intern as part of a larger task in SSRS 2005 to find out if this is possible. He returned, saying that it was impossible. I never found anything in my time working with him since.

Like Yadin, I have never seen anything that could suggest that this is possible within a single text field.

SSRS is known for not being the most intuitive, forgiving, or customizable.
