Record a video presentation from my computer

I would like to make a presentation on my computer that records sounds and shows all the necessary mouse clicks, as well as any text input that I make in a window or form, and write the results to some file for playback later.

It does not matter if the file is MPG or AVI if the file can be played in Windows Media Player.

Which application would suggest doing this? I have seen several webcasts that do this, but it never occurred to me which software would be useful in doing so.

I would suggest for CamStudio as it is free open source software.

You should try Camtasia . It is easy to use (I used it before) and it can export to AVI, Flash and Windows media

I recommend PresentationTube, a new way to record and share video presentations. Free and easy to learn. http://presentationtube.com/

This does not meet your exact requirements. At all. BUT!

Give a contemptuous try. For example: http://presentio.us/view/p1tcHs

There is nothing to install, and it is super easy.
