When using Tortoise SVN for the first time after a reboot, if the software has a new version, a window appears informing you of a website visit to get a new version. Does anyone know how to disable this?
Go to the settings and uncheck the box "Check for new versions every week."
For newer versions of tortoisesvn
You will never get a popup. Instead, a notification appears in an otherwise empty area of ββthe commit dialog, so it is less intrusive. If you still find this a nuisance, you can disable the scan using Settings-> Advanced and set VersionCheck to false.
