Html5 max working web worker at the same time

Is there a maximum number of web workers that can be run simultaneously? Thank you very much.

Yes and no. There is no hard limit with web workers, but you are limited by available processor and memory.

There is a rather large amount of costs for the processor and memory that comes with each worker so that you can finish the machine to shredding if you have allocated a lot of workers.

I would say that Web Workers is best used for “lengthy” background tasks of 100 milliseconds or more.

No restrictions are mentioned in w3c (see http://www.w3.org/TR/workers/ )

But it depends on what you want to do, the limit will be the computer on which you will run the application (be kind to your users).
