Open graphics protocol not working in whatsapp

I follow the meta tags below to show a thumbnail when sharing. It works fine on facebook but not on whatsapp

<meta property="og:site_name" content="Hahaa haa"> <meta property="og:title" content="Haaha haa - Music Player" /> <meta property="og:url" content="http://13.126.57.106/aiyoapp/public/" /> <meta property="og:description" content="Haaha haa Music Player is used to share"> <meta property="og:image" itemprop="image" content="http://13.126.57.106/aiyoapp/public/images/ha_thumb.png"> <meta property="og:type" content="website" />

I had the same problem: everything worked perfectly in any opengraph testing tool and in social sites: facebook, twitter, ok, vk, but whatsapp and telegram weren’t.

So, after many studies, the problem was in our virtual site firewall, which protects against the crawl of the site by many logics, a couple of them are IP and User-Agent. Whatsapp and the telegram pinging sites to receive data do not drop their servers like social sites, but through the dynamic IP address of your mobile operator, but the user agent sends messages himself, and he was on our automatically generated black list.

Make sure that you do not deny access to your site through your user-agents line, which contains: WhatsApp / 2.17.395 A or TelegramBot (e.g. TwitterBot)

Wish it helps.
