How to display a VRML model with .NET?

I have a request to display VRML models in a .NET application. Does anyone know an easy way, perhaps with standard .NET components, to achieve this? What are the problems that I may have to face when presenting VRML in an application?

Get VRML ActveX insert control, which you can find in your .NET application at www.web3d.org

The VRML standard has evolved into X3D (which still supports the old syntax, but now pushes XML-based syntax. For those who are viewing this stream, it would be better to look for X3D and .Net, rather than VRML and .Net Also, for the Internet checking X3DOM .

I think the main problem is that I have never seen anything that has been using VRML for at least five years. I think you might be better off finding a VRML-> SVG converter. The display of SVG in the browser these days is pretty well defined.
