Page break in an RDLC report?

I have an RDLC report that I have problems with page breaks. There is a group in the report in which there are several records that do not fit on one page. This report displays fine in normal mode, but when I switch to print mode, "extra" page breaks that were not there before appear. This leads to the fact that the report is printed on several pages than necessary. I don't have a group to keep on one page, and I played with the values for Height and InteractiveHeight, but nothing works.

Is there any way to solve this problem? I need this report to print correctly, and these mysterious page breaks cause this problem. Any help or suggestions are welcome.

Make sure you specify your field settings in the report properties dialog box. I think the default is 1 inch on all sides. This may discard the seal.

Just set the ur page size property to == 8.5in, 3.625in, and then view the report

Select the table, right-click, go to properties, add a new group immediately after any group (in this case I call "PreviousGroupName"), the expression should be = (RowNumber ("PreviousGroupName") - 1) \ 27+ 1 , check Page break at the end . It will correspond to 27 lines on the Internet and when exporting to .PDF you should see the same 27 lines. You can change 27 to any number you need to fit your page,

Then you can change the height of the viewport (in .aspx) to any size to avoid scrolling.

If you just switched to 2010, this will fix your problem (see the last entry) http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vsreportcontrols/thread/9d493130-6683-4ec8-bbe0-9524df8859c5

Look at the bottom of the ReportViewer constructor area and you should see Row Groups. The name of my report is "Table_LineItems", and I see "Table_Interfaces_Group_Details". I select this and in my window property I set "Keep Together" to false. Then it prints correctly. I can’t guarantee that this will work for you, but I suggest playing with what you see there. You can also (from right to left) click on the immediate expansion and select the advanced mode and indiscriminately set more β€œstatic” items for KeepTogether = false.

I set the ConsumeContainerWhiteSpace = True parameter in the report properties and worked fine.

Try adjusting the width of the elements. You must make sure that they are within the print layout, or you will get additional pages. Make sure your fields are not very wide (I think they are the default).

I made the body size (height) of the report less than the page width and page height in the report properties.

Finally, the blank pages have disappeared.
