Good email service for mass mailing

It just turned out that the hosting company, where I probably posted one site, has a limit of 1000 letters per day.

They suggested using an external email service specializing in email. What are you using? What will stackoverflow use?

I used a company called Campaign Monitor - they were excellent in every way.

Also - hi Arthur! I hope everything is OK, -)

Here is the AuthSMTP price list. I'm not sure that this is the "best" service, but it is one of the main ones.

This is an old question, but another option available in 2010 is MailChimp .

For transactional email see this question .

Depending on the number of emails sent, you should use something like Mail :: Bulkmail, a perl module that will send fewer emails using an envelope (SMTP function). Only one email will be sent to each domain. Then the mail server of this domain will take care of copying and sending letters to all users. The only problem is that you cannot use dynamic emails, for example, different names in each mail.

This service seems a bit cool.

All these companies will provide many additional services in addition to sending email. They do not just send emails on your behalf, or they lyse your original computing power.

They will contribute (or increase sales) to features such as analyzing your campaign by email, preventing your email from being marked as spam, helping to view your email (by providing templates, etc.), tracking bounces and much more.

I would recommend http://madmimi.com/ it is a really simple service with a monthly payment depending on your number of members. It also has an API (quite simple at the moment), but it allows you to manage several things from different applications.

btw, it also has a good real-time mail tracking feature!

You can use email-m.com - a SAAS email service provider .

Hotel / music place. I do various filming / sound recording / computer material to use Constant Contact happily. The pricing is decent, it’s easy enough to use that I never need to help the owner, and he gives a good amount of information about clicks / bounces, etc.

This is more than an SMTP server to which you can send thousands of emails - not sure what you are looking for?
