How to run Trac on Windows?

Look for documentation (manual / tutorial) that easily explains how to configure and run Trac using Subversion on Windows. Suggestions?

Why not write a Buildix image from Thoughtworks? It contains Subversion, Trac, CruiseControl, all in the Ubuntu LiveCD or VMware image.

The Trac on Windows page on the main trac website contains everything you need to know for an easy installation. Authentication via basic http auth may be a bit messy, but it is also described (via trac-digest.py).

If you use VisualSVN Server, installing Trac on top of it is simplified using the help (and downloads) found at http://www.visualsvn.com/server/trac/

I installed it on a Windows Server 2008 server using its user guide (with some settings):

I suggest that instead of trying to assemble the items manually, you use an all-in-one installer, such as open source BitNami Trac Stack , an easy-to-use Windows installer that sends Python, Trac, Subversion and dependencies to run Trac on Windows. You can even easily create your repository from the installation wizard. Disclaimer: I am part of BitNami and support the Trac installer.
