Example ApplicationAndPassword OSX Security Application

I am exploring security plugins using SFAuthorizationPluginView under Mac OSX and as a first step, considering the example NameAndPassword application. The application builds OK, but I can not authenticate it. Anyone has experience with SFAuthorizationPluginView or any other examples.
