The command system gets the latest version at checkout

We used to use SourceSafe, and I really liked that when you checked the file, it automatically received your latest version.

Now we are working with Team System 2005, and this will not work - you need to "get the latest version" before you start working on the file that you checked.

Is there a way to configure Team System (2005) to automatically get the latest version when checking a file?

Are you sure you want this?

This means that when checking a file, it will be incompatible with the rest of your files. Your project may not build or work properly until you update all the files.

@Vaibhav: Thank you very much!

@Jay Bazuzi: I understand what you are saying, but it is very important for me that if a developer is working on a file, this will be the latest version of this file. Otherwise, checking introduces a lot of problems. If for some reason the project is not compiled as a result of receiving the latest version, then, in any case, get the latest version of the whole project. For how our team works - often checking - this is good. If you made the changes you want to save, postpone them.
