I have been using GPT at work since 2007 and I am completely satisfied. I use it to monitor and optimize the Linux network library, and I got significant results.

The main disadvantage of GPT is the lack of accuracy. Thanks to the design, you only have the basic functions that require a lot of time, but this is often necessary when you want to optimize the program.

To be more precise, I recommend using other tools like gprof or IBM Quantify.
