Firebug does not display console channels for some of my sites

Using Firebug v1.20b7 with Firefox v3.0.1 I use firebug for web development.

I very often have a problem that Firebug will not show its web console to view POSTs and GETs . I can view all the other tabs, including the NET tab, which gives me a lot of the same information as the CONSOLE tab.

Curious if anyone else has this problem and maybe a solution, or maybe it's a Firebug bug.

There is a limitation in firebug (or rather in firefox iteself), which will be fixed in one of the new releases of Firefox.

The error is caused by the fact that firebug needs to send data a second time to monitor what is happening in the connection.

There is currently a special API in the firefox tube that should prevent this workaround in the future so that firebug can really keep track of what is happening :)

Well, 1.20b7 is technically a beta version of Firebug. :)

I had problems with some features, but restarting Firefox seems to fix this more often than not.
