Cold boot: snapshot does not exist

Anytime I try to run my application, the emulator is just a black screen and a notification that says: “Cold boot: snapshot does not exist.” I am sure this is a simple fix, but I'm new to Android Studio. Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem. First remove the device from the Tool> AVD Manager menu. Then install a new device (API 25 or 26) that supports the Google Play Store feature. After installing the device, a notification appears asking you to update the Google Play store. There is a problem updating the Google Play Store. Hope this method helps you.
