ITunes Store XML Endpoint Broken API Customer Reviews

I used the XML endpoint because it gave review dates for each review called "updated". It is not contained in the JSON endpoint. However, the XML endpoint has stopped working. I get the following error:

Web Server Error Description: The host did not return the document correctly.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? Any workarounds? Do you expect this to ever be fixed by Apple? Do you think the JSON endpoint may be removed soon?

The XML endpoint seems to be up and running again. No more web server errors. I hope the endpoint remains.

Broken again, both for XML and for JSON, over the last couple of days - after a long delay, the loading of their main form of the RSS feed ends:
