Workbench section not showing in apache jmeter

I am new to Jmeter. I have successfully installed jmeter in my windows machine. I opened " jmeter.bat " under apache-jmeter-4.0 \ bin . But the jmeter window does not display the workspace section in the left pane. I have attached the screenshot below in ApacheJmeter .

This is not a bug, but a feature starting with JMeter 4:

The workbench has been removed from the user interface, now you can use Non Test Elements as the immediate descendants of the test plan.

Now you can use the elements in the test plan, as you used earlier in Workbench

Go to Test Plan → Add → Elements without testing, now you can see all the necessary Workbench functions
