In iOS 11.2. * Messages sent with the symbol $ and / or "dollar / s", and a link in the body text of the message, while the link does not matter in iMessage

In iOS 11.2. * any message sent w / message body that contains the word $ and / or the word "dollar / s", and a link in the message body, display a link that cannot be pressed.

eg. Check out this link for $ 50: http://www.example.com
e.g. Checkout this link for $ 50: http://www.example.com

In the above example, the message body will be fully delivered, but the link will not be available in iMessage. See screenshot below:

unclickable link

Curiously, if you use double dollar signs ($$) or a dollar sign followed by an alpha symbol (for example, $ a) or a dollar with an error (for example, dollar), there is no problem, that is, the links are fully clickable, For example, these messages will display links correctly, despite the inclusion of $ / dollar:

Check this link for $$ 50: http://www.example.com
Check out this link for $ a off: http://www.example.com
Check out this link for $ 5: http://www.example.com

This issue will NOT be fixed in a future iOS release - I just tested 11.2.5 on January 4, 2018.

My guess is that this error is due to the integration of Apple Apple Pay into iMessage, in which they probably analyze the currency keyword, offering payment through Apple Pay. Does anyone know of workarounds?
