Fire event upon completion of the allocation

Question

I want to highlight text, and when marquee completes (1 full selection loop), I want to trigger another event. Is there a good way to do this? I did not see OnEnd or a similar function when I select a text box

using a custom TextView , you can override onDraw to use reflection in the mMarquee field and in the mStatus field of the mStatus field (see grepcode for TextView or such).

mStatus value is 2 at step execution and 0 at stop.

onDraw is called a lot, but in particular it is called right after the selection is complete.
