Did the Sonarlint command line version fall?

It seems that Sonarsource has stopped developing the sonarlint tool on the command line instance. The link to the page on the sonarlint website now returns 404, and there is no mention of the product on the sonarlint website.

Does this mean that there will no longer be a sonarlint command line version?

The reason I'm asking about this is because I would like to implement a build process that runs static code analysis for developers, and also as part of the CI process on our Jenkins server. Although this can be achieved using various other plugins (checkstyle, etc.), the decision is to start using Squid rules and obsolete the old checkstyle rules, findbugs, etc. In Sonar, aligning the build process with the result provided by Sonar makes it difficult; in squid there are some rules that are not amenable to coordination. For this reason, I was looking for a way for developers to run local sonar analysis, which was the same as Jenkins during CI. (This is the base build and development of best practice to align the local build of the developer with the help performed by the CI server.)

Either the sonar preview mode or the sonarline command line tool would allow our assembly to do this, but it seems that Sonarsource does not understand the value of this practice and decided to no longer support (through development) the method, which, in my opinion, is a mistake. I hope that by raising this issue, they can again consider whether and how to support sonar analysis for developers who do not require it, and an IDE plug-in or editor. My preference would be to eliminate the outdated analysis of the preview mode in the sonar runner so that we can confidently create processes that rely on it.

The CLI version of SonarLint is no longer being developed or supported. It will be completely dropped soon, please find more information here (message from SonarSource representative):

You can go with Sonar Scanner: https://docs.sonarqube.org/display/SCAN/Analyzing+with+SonarQube+Scanner
