In iOS 11.0n there are many problems with push in general. I have two applications, one uses silent keystrokes, and I can reproduce problems with not set keystrokes. I canβt fix anything, this is an Apple problem, they changed the behavior of silent clicks, and also introduced an error with iOS 11.0.
However, I also have another application that uses VoIP push. WhatsApp uses VoIP push, and their users experience many notification problems with iOS 11.0n: https://whatsappen.com/news/5465/many-complaints-whatsapp-notifications-ios-11-update-solution
This link is above (and the WhatsApp website says something similar)
This is actually an iOS 11 bug. This affects users who usually force them to close their application.
I cannot reproduce any similar problem with my application that uses VoIP push (a tried and tested effort leaving it several times). And this is my problem - the fact that I can not reproduce it. Just because I cannot play it, it does not mean that it does not affect my application.
If there is a problem with VoIP pushing and therefore potentially with the behavior of my application, I would like to reproduce it and fix it. WhatsApp claims that they fixed their problem without waiting for the new version from Apple, so it should be something they can work on.
I would like to know if anyone knows that this is a VoIP talk problem with WhatsApp and what they did to fix it.
