How to use GTM without Cocoapod?

I am trying to use GTM in an application. So far, the application does not use CocoaPods and will not use CocoaPods. But GTM requires CocoaPods, and there seems to be no way to install GTM without CocoaPods. But I hope that it is possible to use GTM without CocoaPod. Can I?

I also had the same requirement to just use the latest GTM SDK (GoogleTagManager 6.0.0) manually without using CocoaPods.

In particular, I wanted Google Tag Manager and Firebase to work together using the latest GTM SDK. According to the GTM minion, Firebase Analytics is also part of it.
