Swiper doesn't show image (from URI) until scrolling

Question

I have a Swiper with one Image-child (same problem when I have multiple images as children). If I go to this screen, I except to see the image.

But: the swiper area is black (invisible) while I scroll down a bit. If I scroll, the image will load.

I am using iOS Simulator with the following versions:

reaction-native-swiper v1.5.13

response-native v0.46.4

Adding removeClippedSubviews={false} to Swiper solved the problem.
