Xamarin.Forms Previewer "Connection closed"

Just opened Xamarin.Forms Previewer, and he says: “Something went wrong, the connection is closed” His new version of Visual Studio 2017 and the empty Xamarin Forms project.

Here is what worked for me.

  • Make sure Android & Phone selected in XF Preview.
  • Now Close Preview XF.
  • Make sure your App.Android project is marked as the start up project .
  • Restart VS
  • Open viewer again.

I have no idea why the above worked for me, but who should I complain about when it works.
