We are in an unsuccessful situation related to support for a device based on Windows CE (ARMV7 architecture). We constantly face problems with the limited functionality of the .NET Compact platform (no security libraries, very limited asynchronous support, ...). Since the .NET Core CLR was compiled for several platforms, including the ARM-based platform, the idea was to try to compile it for Windows CE. I spent about a day figuring out how far I would get, but I'm not the most experienced CMake user.
I could not find hints on the Internet, someone had ever tried, so ... Is there a main opportunity to achieve this, or are there limitations that I still don’t see, which makes getting a working version extremely unlikely?
