IPhone X full screen

Question

Today I installed Xcode 9 and am creating an application for iPhone x . but the upper and lower areas show black, like the scenarios that we met a couple of years ago for the iPhone 5, when the screen switched to 3.5-4.

How can we solve this problem?

You must use a safe area. .

For custom layout apps, iPhone X support should also be relatively easy, especially if your app uses auto-layout and sticks to safe areas and field layout guides.
