Export pandas Styled table file to file

Question

The code below when running on a jupyter laptop displays a table with a color gradient that I would like to export to an image file.

The resulting styled_table object, which renders the laptop, is the type pandas.io.formats.style.Styler.

I could not find a way to export Styler to the image.

I hope someone can share a working export example or give me some pointers.

As mentioned in the comments, you can use the render property to get the HTML for the stylesheet:

 html = styled_table.render() 

Then you can use a package that converts HTML to image. For example, IMGKit: Python HTML library for IMG wrappers . Keep in mind that this solution requires the installation of wkhtmltopdf , a command-line tool for rendering HTML to PDF and various image formats. All of this is described on the IMGKit page.

If you have this, the rest is simple:
