Unable to find htdocs on xampp

Question

I installed XAMPP for macOS Sierra.

I have one icon in the application for XAMPP.

I can start the server and services, but I can not find the htdocs folder.

I did not find it in \Library\Webserver

I managed to find the htdocs directory. On the poppy under the tab "Volume" there is a button "explore", there is a directory.

We just found out that the XAMPP nfs mounts on MacOS are located along the following path:

 /Users/my_name/.bitnami/stackman/machines/xampp/volumes/root/htdocs

The new version of XAMPP uses a virtual machine for its content, you need to mount the volume to access htdocs.

Uninstall xampp.app, download the new one (I am using 5.6.31 php ver), then reinstall it.

To find the correct and active htdocs directory htdocs your XAMPP for macOS Sierra, follow these three steps;

1. Launch your XAMPP and click on the “Start” button.
2. Wait until the status indicator changes color from orange to green, then click the Volumes tab (between the Network and Log tabs),
3. Click the "Mount" button, then the "Explore" button;

In the htdocs window, you can easily find the htdocs folder.
