Menu bar not showing in Android Studio

I have a problem with my Android Studio application on macOS Sierra.

It seems that the application is really not open, because usually when the application is open, there is a dot under its icon on the dock, but not on my computer ...

The true problem is that the menu bar options, such as File, Build, ... are not displayed, and I cannot access them. Instead, I have options for the next open application. Once again, it looks like Android Studio was not open. This is very annoying because I cannot use all the tools.

In addition to these problems, I can edit my code, I can run the application on the device using a USB cable, etc. This is very strange, and I have not seen such problems on the Internet. I tried to restart the application and restart the computer, none of them worked ...

Have you ever experienced the same issue with Android Studio (or with any other application)?

This has been fixed by Apple. Updating macOS to 10.13.2 Beta 4 (17C79a) resolved the issue for me.

According to IDEA-175658 , this is a known bug in High Sierra. But this seems to be a Java bug, not a Jetbrains product.

A workaround to this point is to install an outdated version of Java 6 for Java . I can confirm that it works here.
