Deleted all Nuget packages in my local package cache, now I cannot use VS at all

Question

I deleted all the files and folders inside C:\Users\myself\.nuget\packages , and now all my .NET Core projects complain that System or Void or nothing primitive was found. Tested the following

• Nuget.exe -restore c: \ path \ to \ myslnfile.sln -PackagesDirectory C: \ Users \ myself \ .nuget \ packages
• Decision making
• Creating a new project (new projects complain about the same thing)

What should I do now?

Try the following:

• Close Visual Studio.
• Run the dotnet restore CMD command for your solution.
• Reopen Visual Studio.
