Npm Error - No matching version found for

i clones the project with git, the project was created using ionic 2, but when I execute the command to recreate the node_modules folder, I get this error.

NOTE. I am already updating npm.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

The version you specified or one of your dependencies is not published to npmjs.com

Running npm view ionic-native (see docs ) for package versions returns the following result:

As you can see, the version above 2.9.0 was not published in the npm repository. It’s strange that they have higher versions than on GitHub . I suggest discovering the problem with the attendants on this .

Now you can manually install the package via the tarball URL of the required version :

 npm install https://github.com/ionic-team/ionic-native/tarball/v3.5.0

Try to delete the package-lock.json file first
