It seems that GCC now deprecated and will be removed from the Android NDK ; Instead, Clang will be used. At the same time, Android NDK will never support GCC 5 , and there will be no updates regarding GCC .
Saying that I wanted to use Qt for Android with Clang , and it seems that work was done in Qt 5.7.1 : https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-50724 , but I donβt know how to configure Qt Creator uses Clang to configure Android , while Qt Creator does not auto-detect the configuration:

Does anyone know how to set up Qt Creator and where are the Clang for Android ? They seem to be somewhere in /Users/user/Library/Android/sdk/ndk-bundle/ , but I just can't figure it out. I am using Qt Creator 4.2.2 .
Can I use Qt for Android with Clang ?
