VS Code multiple views of the same file without separation

Is there a way in Visual Studio Code to open multiple instances of the same file, but without sharing the view?

(Sublime editor accomplishes this with File> New View To File)

Just click the icon next to the ... icon (it looks like a split window) or press Ctrl + \ * . Hope this answers your question !: D

Edit: Sorry, I have not read all of this since I came to this post from the best text editor article, LOL. I don’t think there is a way to do this. Although I think you can do it yourself if you want.
