How to connect to mongoDB Atlas using mongoose

I try to connect to my cluster in mongoDB Atlas via Mongoose.connect (), but every time I try to connect, I get the exception "MongoError: authentication fail" I know that MongoDB Atlas is a new mongo as a service that cannot yet support mongoose?
