Match Match Operation for Record Binding in Oracle Warehouse Builder

Question

I am new to OWB and am performing a Match-Merge operation.

Input data
Source (database): 22.33,000 records
Target: 1000 entries

Actual result
20,000,000 records

Expected Result
Match table: <= 1000 entries

I can’t understand why I get such a huge amount in the Output of Match-Merge Table that it was unexpected.

Please help me, guided by all the steps that must be taken to reduce the actual output to approx. 1000 entries.
