Need a table of key codes for android and speaker

Question

Can someone point me to a list of key codes that come from getKeyCode () in numerical form, so for example, if I look at 72, I see "]", and if I look at 24, I see "vol up" .

I searched for an hour and the answer is not an ASCII table. That would be too easy ...

I get key codes from my leading mouse and try to intercept them. There is one key that outputs 57 and 117 that I cannot intercept, and I wanted to decrypt it before asking a question about it, but I can not find the link. I think this is a shift, but I do not know what 57 is. This key on the presenter takes me out of my application, even if I intercepted it.

OK, I found it at last.

Key event This document shows the volume up to 24. key code I searched for Alt-Menu and, apparently, it runs regardless of the key intercepted.

Notes

• Currently, the last key code is KEYCODE_SYSTEM_NAVIGATION_RIGHT , which is 283 (but check the source code to make sure this is still true). So you can skip them like this:

• Most of the EditText input (or a custom view that accepts keyboard input) from the Input Method Editor (IME) is done using an input connection, so in this case many key codes are not sent at all. See this answer .

It is so outdated, but in case someone goes this route, I have the same problem and invented it.

If you use KeyEvent Viewer, then the volume has code = 24, but the scan code is 115.

Now my USB controller has only code = # and all scanCodes are 0. But my air mouse (Mele F10) has all the keys with codes and scan codes, but scancode is what you have to insert into the .kl file.

The actual standard key layout is in /system/usr/keylayout/qwerty.kl on Android running on the phone. And that is also a common key.

From the AOSP source, it can be found in sdk/emulator/keymaps/qwerty.kl .

But keep this in mind when the source is compiled along with the device-specific keylayout, which instead replaces the standard layout, so the mileage will depend on what the manufacturer has programmed in the code for the volume up and down buttons in your case!
